Momos Poker Room Robbery
Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Clinton Canady III on Thursday issued a temporary injunction against the Michigan Gaming Control Board and its Executive Director preventing them from implementing so-called “regulatory updates” which attempted to restrict charities’ fundraising without following state law.
They are charged with a lengthy list of crimes after an armed robbery last month during a charity poker game at Momo's Poker Room in Taylor. Nickolas Frederick, 30, and Daniel Frederick, 29, are. Three men, including two Dearborn Heights residents, are facing charges brought against them in connection to an armed robbery that occurred April 1 at a packed poker tournament for charity.

According to DetroitNews.com, Nickolas Jonathan Frederick, Michael Eugene Pennington and Daniel William Frederick are accused of robbing patrons at Momo’s Charity Poker Room at around 1 a.m. on Friday, April 1.
Witnesses said that the men had been playing in the poker room before leaving and allegedly later returning wearing masks and armed with guns.
The robbers took cash from a drawer, as well as cash and personal items from players, police said. There were more than a dozen people in the room when the robbery happened, and fortunately no one was injured.
All three suspects are due back in court later this month.
